Ready or not 2009 is here. We are ready as a staff, here at Central, to serve the Lord Jesus like never before. We better serve while there is time as the signs of the times are appearing before us everyday.

Are you living ready to meet Him? That day is coming and that day is now sooner than it has ever been. Each day assures us that we are one day closer to seeing Christ face to face, either we will breathe our last breath or we will meet Him in the air. We are so easily distracted from living ready. We are high definition, surround sound, Ipod, Xbox, text, Iphone blackberry, internet, cable, satellite distracted from living ready to meet Him.

Living ready to meet Him means living to please Him each and everyday. This also means that our perspectives must change. True joy and true pleasure only come to us when we are in a right relationship with Him.

This year will hold great things for us as a church as we carryout mission projects, as we see our deacon ministry started, as we see people saved, ministered to, see people change and grow, as we see people follow in believers baptism. New families will come as God continues to bring people to be a part of what He is doing here.
